Dog love: meet Whiskey

Here’s a special girl.

Her name is Whiskey, and she was found abandoned on the side of the road in Ngaruawahia.  She was then taken to the pound where she waited and waited…

Whiskey - what a honey.
Whiskey – what a honey.

And finally Cherie from DC Rescue Dogs found her:  “We rescued her off death row, and she hasn’t looked back.”

Whiskey is a staffy cross, about five months old.
She is ok with Cherie’s cat, very people friendly and great with other dogs.
Whiskey will go to her new home desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, is worm/flea treated and is registrated with NZCAR and Waikato Council.  An adoption donation of $280 is asked to help recover her rescue costs. If you would like to meet Whiskey, email Cherie or phone her on 021 041 4108.

Cool young pup
Chloe – reasons to smile

Number 8 Network recently featured Chloe, a young pup looking for a new home after being abandoned.

Cheries says Chloe has found a brilliant rural home and is a box of birds.  Great stuff.
