Power book just for kids

WEL Network bookWEL Networks has launched its own activity book teaching kids how to stay safe around power.

The activity books are free, and include colouring pages, word finds and crosswords all aimed at four to nine-year-olds.

“We deliver a variety of information to adults about keeping safe near power lines and wanted to ensure out little people get the same message – but obviously in a way they’ll understand and engage with. So we developed our very own activity book with safety messages,” says WEL Networks communications advisor Erin Rangi-Watt.

“We’d love to see them out and about at kindy, crèche and junior schools.”

Copies of the activity book are available at Mooloo rugby games, at WEL’s reception on Maui St, Hamilton or ring 0800 800 935.
