Osborne and the lawyer

Our friendly pukeko received the following correspondence recently:

Dear Number 8 Network

It has come to our knowledge through a little bird that you are employing a French citizen namely Mr Pukeku Osborne on your esteemed website.

Citizens of France are given a three month’s visa free waiver on entry to New Zealand on the condition that they do not seek employment and that they leave New Zealand within that time. We note Mr Osborne has been at it for number 8 since August 2011.

Mr Osborne is required to attend at the Immigration New Zealand Office Level 5 Westpac House 430 Corner Victoria & Alma Streets Hamilton urgently. He should bring his passport.

He will be permitted to attend with solicitor if he so chooses.

Failure to appear within seven days of this notice will result in a warrant being issued for his arrest.

We remind you that if you have been employing Mr Osborne you may be committing an offence under the Immigration Act.

Yours fraternally

Mr Mohamed Ashraf Lovitorlevit
Senior Immigration Officer
Head of Prosecutions
Gordonton

(Apologies once again – our resident artist Danny is on holiday so Osborne has suffered the slings and arrows of being drawn by Annette-is-that-how-you-draw-a-beak-Taylor.)

I’m sure Danny wont mind – at least I don’t think he will despite the resemblance now to Ozzy Osbourne (Anglo-saxon spelling) (!)
