Woodlands says thank-you

The Christmas spirit was in good flow at Woodlands last night, as all those who volunteered their time and energy throughout the year were invited to a special evening to receive the Trust’s thanks.

The speeches were short, the food delicious – especially the fig and blue cheese creation – a fine time was had by all.

The gathering also heard Nigel and Jacquie Haselden’s experiences making bricks in the 37 degree heat of Cambodia as they built houses with 150 other kiwis (and others) as part of a Habitat for Humanity project.
