All hands needed

(And all feet to be in gumboots!)

It was a wet and gloomy day last Saturday as four hardy souls braved the big wet to plant more trees at Pukemokemoke Reserve.

The clouds parted, and while rather damp underfoot, the rest of the afternoon allowed us to plant about 50 trees.

Alas, alack, there’s still another 300 to go – these plants were obtained at a give-away price from Miranda, and they need to go in the ground soon.

Willing workers will be seriously appreciated, from 1 to 5pm this Saturday 25 August.

Bring your spades and a spot of afternoon tea.  Go on, it will be fun.
