Tauhei wild game hunt is on!

Junior Hunter Max RappeTHE ducks are still shaking, the deer and goats hiding and now the fish have cause to be worried.

Yes, you read right, fishing. This year the third annual Tauhei Wild Game Hunt and Fishing Competition has included snapper and trout to the PTA fund-raiser.

As each year passes, the interest in the event is astounding and this year is deeming to be no different, says Angela Martin.

Ducks, pheasants, deer, goats, eels, snapper, trout and turkeys are all on the prize board.

“People can hunt close or afar, no boundaries are involved.”

Competitions start at 1am tomorrow (Friday 17 May) and continues until the weigh-in shut off at 4pm Sunday 19 May.

Can you take out the top prize? See you there …..
