A pictorial confession

Some of us have not been keeping up with the garden. This is the Number 8 Network vege patch a few days ago. (Cough.)

Before:

Oh dear

If you look closely you can see a lovely bunch of kale among all the weeds…  and what healthy weeds they are!     Bio-diversity, that’s what we were after.

After (two days’ back-breaking labour:)

Yippee!

And yes, that black furry thing is Marley the office cat. She was useless with a spade.

Impressive. Even better than the green mess that was my vege garden until recently. Alas, I suspect you’ve done a better clean-up job than I have, though!

The bad news, of course, is that while our backs are turned, the weeds they do pop up!

What a wonderful transformation, who were the hard workers? Don’t you love it? I do!

That would be David and myself, without any help from the cat. Now we have to keep it that way!

Wow, I´m impressed!!! How come that you´re doing gardenwork in the middle of your winter??? Or is that first spring work? And where from did you take such a great photo??? Must be from the top of your roof…..

Well, it’s been a really mild winter so far! Should have been a job for the autumn but it kept getting postponed. And yes, it’s taken from the roof!
