Wairere Drive road closures

For those heading into or out of town – the east-bound lane of Wairere Drive between River Road and Resolution Drive will be closed on the nights of Wednesday 4 December and Thursday 5 December.

The closure, between 9pm and 7am, will allow concrete safety barriers to be installed between the traffic lane and working site.

Detours along Discovery Drive will in place and the west-bound lane will remain open as normal.

This work is part the four-laning of this section of Wairere Drive. The full project will take about nine months and is expected to be completed by September 2014.
