Rural Women NZ members and friends walked the length of New Zealand on the weekend, then turned round and walked halfway back again! Walking the world, locally

The local branch of Rural Women NZ met at Lake Kainui (Lake D) on Lake Rd, Horsham Downs last Sunday, to walk around the lake and join in on a global initiative to walk around the world. Nationwide, the group challenged its members to walk the length of New Zealand – all 1600km of it.
