Building in Cambodia

With 150 other kiwis, Gordonton’s Nigel and Jacquie Haselden helped make bricks in the 37 degree heat of Cambodia as they took part in a Habitat for Humanity project.  They sent through a few pics…

Busy at work on an avenue of 22 houses – about 1 1/2 hours out of Phnom Penh.

The home built for a family who previously  had been living on a dump.

House dedication and hand over to the family.

Nigel and new friend (who has been de-fanged, by the way.)

“I think I’ll call her Dolores… wonder if she’ll fit in my luggage?”
