Pukemokemoke panels in place

Pukemokemoke volunteer of the year Mantez Singh with one of the newly erected interpretation panels at the lookout.

The much awaited panels at Pukemokemoke have now been installed.  Drawn by Catherine Beard, the panels show the surrounding features from four different angles.

The artwork was translated into permanent, aluminium mounted, vinyl sheets by Green Frog Sign and Display.  Each panel shows 90 degrees of horizon and is accompanied by interpretive information.

They were donated by the Des Forges family in memory of Brooke, the first chairman of the reserve trust.

Come and see them!
