Two for the price of one – support Gordonton school and help our kids brush up their vocabulary.

Students have been given a list of words to learn over the holidays in a PTA Spell-a-thon. They will be tested in the second week of term 3.

So all those nanas, grandads and neighbours out there – help those students.

Another way to help the school is through the Bull Calf Scheme, which is again underway.

All this requires is raising a bull calf to 100kg this spring, the calves are then collected and sold. All proceeds go directly to improve the school. You might know someone who might like to donate a calf – get in touch with Wayne Lucey for more details and registration, phone 824 3625.
