Ride on mower for sale – and a chance to help Pukemokemoke reserve

Here is a special request from Pukemokemoke’s Warwick Silvester.

“You will know the Pukemokemoke bush reserve at Tauhei. We have spent the last five years getting rid of privet and turning those areas into grass. We have lots of grass and it’s a good way to suppress regrowth of privet.

Mowing the grass has been an effort fraught with problems. Last year we purchased a Toro Zero Turn ride on mower, a state-of-the-art machine. But it can’t cope with the rough ground and being low to the ground it gets bogged down in the wet areas by the stream. So, we need to sell it.

Here’s the deal. It is a Toro Timecutter SW 5000, 24.5 HP 50 inch cut Retail price is $9000. I am willing negotiate around $5500. It is in as-new condition, only done 61 hours and would be ideal for large lifestyle block. It is zero turn and front wheel steer so is wonderfully manoeuvrable.

If you have a lot of lawn this is the machine for you and Pukemokemoke desperately needs to recover its losses.

By the way, we have now purchased a 4-wheel drive small Kubota with topper which is proving ideal.”
