Takeaways are back on the menu in Gordonton and Leon is feeling thankful – “Dear all valued customers. We have have been closed for five weeks since the lockdown and when it moves down to level 3 we will reopen, operating for takeaways.”

Darrin Paul at Gordonton Automotive is open –  to essential workers. “So if you need your car to get to work we will be able to repair and give it a Warrant of Fitness.  When you drop your car off, please make sure you turn off all heating and air cons before I get in car.”

He also asks that customers keep their distance to the recommended 2 meters. “Please make sure there is no food and drinks left in your car.”

MacSmith Tires

MacSmith’s Tires are open to ensure the tyres keep turning. “We are here for you if you get a puncture or need new tyres to get to work. We support you and think you are doing a fantastic job. Be proud!” says Jason Heather-Smith. Tyres, puncture repairs and alignments, brakes and suspension work can all be done at the Gordonton workshop.

Our open hours will be back to our normal winter hours – these are weekdays 7am – 6.30pm, weekends and stats 8am – 6.30pm.”  Gull Whitikahu has been open during the lockdown period and has had higher stocks than normal – including flour and yeast.  Fuel available 24/7 – with disinfectant in spray bottles on top of the pumps. Lastly, please use common sense when visiting their store. Maximum of one person at a time.

Hukanui Golf Club

“We are open to members and players within their bubble only. Sorry, no green fee players, affiliated members or Footgolf under Level 3, due to Government regulations. Golf played between 9am and 4pm.  Before turning up to play golf, please ring Debbie Adgo to register for a tee time.”
