Gordonton Gala brings in the crowds

It was mostly sunny at Gordonton School’s gala, and the nearby paddocks were full of parked cars as folk headed for the fund raiser.

While it was possibly a tad too windy for the tethered hot air balloon rides, the ponies took many young ones for a stroll. The vintage tractor, the Palm Kernel Ride and the Wobbly Train were also firm favourites.

Eight months in the planning, the day, which will raise money for an extension to the school hall, delivered a feast of events, food and fun.

In between housework, Number8Network – which is just a couple of paddocks up from the school – nipped along and took some pics.

    Hi Iris/Annette
Would you be able to drop a memory stick or email the photos as I’d like to display them at school
    Thanks in anticipation
