So many gardens, so little time

We grabbed our raincoats and headed to the first Gordonton Country Garden Ramble.  And what a thoroughly grand day out it was even though we didn’t get to every garden.

There were 12 in total, each a gem in many ways and with wonderful gardeners happy to share their little (or rather large) bit of happiness.

Donkey wrangler and expert photographer Sandra Peek snapped the following images.

Thanks to the hard working organisers of this wonderful event – see you and the gardens next year!

The fundraiser supports the work of Desert Spring Ministires who work in Hamilton to help families who are struggling to make ends meet – one of their projects is a community garden.

Magnificant day all round. It was a real pleasure to see all the
    work achieved by these gardeners.
