August market splendiferous

Another wonderful country market was had in Gordonton – and it only rained for five minutes! Number 8 Network’s Annette Taylor took these photographs while strollin’ with roving reporter Ciaran Warner.

Sign of good things

One of the first stalls we came across was selling essential winter warming treats –

Twirly man

News hounds Taylor and Warner could not refrain from trying one –

Ciaran grabs a treat
“Got it, Taylor!”

And off we then strolled.  Some were getting a little tired and needed a lift –

Tired

Others clearly still had energy to inspect goodies thoroughly –

"...and we can tell mum that it followed us home."
“…and we can tell mum that it followed us home.”

As always, there was much to look at and buy, if one could just find the right change –

Nice vege

Fruity lady

All that is good for you, as well as even more treats!

Candy!

bread

Including those out on good causes –

St Johns

Or just out enjoying with friends –

Two kids

And as we left, we said farewell until next time, Ray –

The next Gordonton Country Market is going to be a goodie – it will be 12 months since they began and I suspect the organsing committee are going to be in celebration mode.  Well done guys!
