A volunteer with a welcoming attitude is sought to manage bookings for Gordonton Hall.
Richard Riddell, chairman of the Gordonton District Committee, says the role has become vacant suddenly.
“Brenda Stobie has done this job very well for the last five years now but has had to step down for personal reasons. She will be missed.”
The role involves coordinating, managing and recording hall bookings and dealing with inquiries. It is a volunteer position with an honorarium payment.
Other duties include assisting clients with information to help with their booking, such as what equipment is available, inspecting the hall after an event and arranging delivery of the key.
“Brenda will carry on in the short term until a replacement can be found. Please get in touch if you would like to take on this position or know of any one in the Gordonton community that would like to do this job.”
