Planting spree

Fifteen or so hardy souls took part in a planting bee at Pukemokemoke Reserve on Saturday.   N8N grabbed its camera, loppers, gloves, spade, gumboots and a big thermos of tea and helped out.

Here’s some action pics.  Pukemokemoke is a small patch of lowland forest beside the Tauhei quarry and the Friends of Pukemokemoke have working bees the third Saturday of every month.  All are welcome, contact Alan Leadley for more information.
