Fine weekend brings out the planters

A good number of helping hands turned out to Saturday’s working bee at Pukemokemoke – and while the sun shone, all 300 trees were planted.

Many weeds were dealt to, and the track damaged by last month’s flood was repaired.

David Riddell was there, and in addition to planting a whole bunch of pittosporums, took these pics.

A good afternoon’s work, he says.  (Wait until tomorrow, she says, there’s weeds awaiting in the home garden!)
